Hi

My name is Peter Freeman and I am a freelance assistant director working in the film and television industry.

I am based in the UK but have worked extensively all over the world on feature films, television dramas and commercials.

I followed my parent in to the industry at the age of eighteen and have been bringing an infectious enthusiasm to every project I have been involved with ever since.

As well as numerous commercials I have worked on over 75 features and tv dramas in 14 countries, always striving to provide whatever support the director / producer need to make the best film possible given the constraints of available time and budget.

I take pride in my thorough breakdowns and detailed schedules, am experienced with CGI, stunt sequences, film and digital shooting formats and am comfortable giving the calm, clear communication and leadership needed on set for a safe, efficient and happy shoot.

My family background is also in film and television and my immediate family includes other assistant directors, a make up designer, film publicist, sound engineer, and two production accountants so I have been in and around “the biz” since I was a child.
